At Stage Two, we have been involved with schools for many years and believe that we have a unique understanding of their
needs and financial constraints.
We created a valuable Audio-Visual equipment maintenance service which has been running for over 10 years. For a single
annual payment we offer a repair service including delivery and collection coupled with an efficient turnaround service.
THEATRE LIGHTING INSTALLATION.
Stage Two offers a comprehensive installation service no matter how large or small the system may be.
Both drama studios and stages are catered for and systems can either be fully installed or mobile on stands. Lighting
control desks and dimmer packs vary in both size and complexity; the choice is yours and your budget.
We have supplied systems in both primary and secondary schools and further education establishments.

SOUND EQUIPMENT
A wide range of Sound equipment is available to purchase or hire to support the use of your facilities whatever the event.
Stage and Main Hall systems for dramatic productions, speech days, assemblies and public events. Systems can be tailored
to meet the specific requirements of the school and can be designed to allow additional facilities to be added in the
future or for specific events. The system may have fixed speakers or perhaps have the amplification unit housed in a
separate mobile unit that can be moved to various areas of the school for maximum versatility. Small portable combined
cassette and amplifier units can be supplied for individual classrooms.
Microphones, stands, leads and a full range of accessories are also readily available.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
There are two maintenance contracts available:
The Audio Visual equipment contract provides a comprehensive contract to maintain your equipment in good working order.
Teachers own equipment can also be repaired on a chargeable basis. The contract has no restriction on the value of the
repair but the notional repair cost must not be greater than the value of the item for repair.
The Theatre lighting maintenance contract provides for a thorough electrical check on all theatre/drama lighting equipment
and lanterns with a report issued after the inspection. Repairs are normally carried out during the test as well as lamp
replacement, etc.
Public Address systems
Systems which will discretely re-inforce the sound of a person speaking or a group of children of adults taking part in a
service of worship can be installed. The systems can be simple and straightforward or complex with a number of special
features to suit the individual requirements of the church. Special care is taken to ensure that the design of the system
and the choice and installation of the equipment complements the aesthetic qualities of the building.
Hand held or lapel Radio Microphones complement the system together with slimline lectern microphones.
Portable appliance testing
We offer a complete service for testing equipment and the issue of a written report plus undertaking remedial work that
may prove necessary.
Charges depend on the number of items to be tested and their location. Testing can be carried out during school holidays
by arrangement.
Induction loops
The advent of the Disability Discrimination Act has brought a requirement to provide reasonable facilities for all and
we have installed a number of loops systems for the hard of hearing in a range of circumstances from reception desks,
classrooms to full size halls. Additionally we can provide one-to-one portable loop system that can be moved to different
areas.
Case studies
A large primary school, with long corridors, in London needed to be able to put calls out to individual classrooms along
with general paging calls. As an added feature they wanted to be able to broadcast a series of tones to announce the end
of lessons and playtime separately in both the infant and junior areas.
We installed a system which did exactly what they wanted and provided a software maintenance service.
